Book review article submission guidelines

 

1. Your review should address the following issues: the significance of the research question(s), the use of methodology, major arguments, empirical evidence in support of arguments, and conclusions, strengths and weaknesses, and recommendation for readers.
    
2. Your review should be limited to 500--750 words, saved as a MS Word file. No footnotes should be used. If a citation is used, please provide a full citation with page numbers in parentheses. Please submit your review 4 weeks after receiving the book(s) for review by e-mail to Dr. Baogang Guo: bguo@em.daltonstate.edu.
   
   
3. The bibliographic information should appear at the head of the review. For example, Jiwei Ci, Dialectic of the Chinese Revolution (Stanford, CA: Stanford University Press, 1994), 281pp. $39.95 cloth. You name and academic affiliation should be indicated at the foot of the review.
