Style and Citations

Manuscripts should conform to the Chicago Manual of Style, 14th ed. Pinyin should be used without tone/diacritical marks. The authors must use standard endnote form throughout the document. The journal does not use bibliographies and references, and therefore they must be converted and incorporated into standard endnote form. Tables and figures must be incorporated into the text rather than on a separate sheet. The content and format of the endnotes should conform to the following examples: 

Books

In English: Roman Frydman and Andrzej Rapaczynski, Privatization in Eastern Europe: Is the State Withering Away? (London: Central European University Press, 1994), pp. 11-12.

Subsequent Citations

Use ibid. to refer only to immediately preceding references or part of it; idem. And op. cit should not be used. The shortened title system should be used as follows:

 Books:

In English: Surname, shortened title, year, pp. ? 
In Chinese: Full name, shortened title, year, pp. ?

 Articles:

In English: Surname, “shortened title of article,” year, pp. ?
In Chinese: Full name, “shortened title of article,” year, pp. ?
